LG Electronics reaches partnership with General Motors to supply OLED screens
Recently, LG Electronics announced that it will provide digital cockpits based on OLED curved screens for the new Cadillac Escalade ESCALADE and will cooperate with GM.
Last week, the all-new Cadillac Escalade ESCALADE was officially released. The most noticeable part of the cabin is undoubtedly its 38-inch OLED curved screen. It is reported that the screen is supplied by LG Electronics and is an important part of the digital cockpit. The system consists of two in-vehicle infotainment screens and an instrument panel screen. Its pixel density is twice that of a 4k TV.
LG Electronics said it will provide OLED screens for other General Motors models in the future. LG Electronics has always tried to apply OLED screens in the automotive and aircraft fields. With the development of the automotive industry, the demand for car screens is increasing, and the quality demands are getting higher and higher. It is believed that more screen suppliers will establish cooperative relationships with car companies in the future.
