On February 18, in order to promote the industrialization of printing and display in China, under the guidance of the High-tech Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province, and the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, the "Technical Seminar on Printing Display Industrialization and Industrial Chain Development", sponsored by the National New Display Technology Innovation Center, and co-organized by the Shenzhen Municipal Science and Technology Innovation Commission and the Shenzhen Guangming District Science and Technology Innovation Bureau, was successfully held in the Huaxing R&D Building of Shenzhen TCL, The seminar was hosted by Ma Songlin, Executive Deputy Director of the National Center for New Display Technology Innovation. The conference conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges around the deployment and progress of the national printing and display project, the development strategy of printing and display, the progress of printing OLED/QLED display materials, and the progress of printing and display equipment.

Promote the construction of a powerful display country, and lay out the printing display in the national key research and development plan
New display is one of the important cornerstones of China's electronic information industry. China has long fully recognized the importance of new display technology and has made overall layout at the national strategic level. In 2001, the "new flat panel display technology" major project of the 863 plan of the Ministry of Science and Technology formally established the research and development layout of China's "new flat panel display technology", and began continuous special support for more than 20 years. The last two five-year plans of the National Key R&D Plan are also the establishment of special projects related to "new display" to give key support, so as to promote China from "display power" to "display power". Guo Tailiang, a professor at Fuzhou University and the leader of the expert group on the direction of new displays in the key special project of "new displays and strategic electronic materials", said that with the support of the national key research and development plan, through the implementation of the "13th Five-Year Plan" and "14th Five-Year Plan", China's display technology as a whole can meet the major strategic needs of the country and seize the commanding heights of future industrial development.
Jointly build the display technology ecosystem, and the prologue of printing and display industrialization is about to start
With the continuous emergence of new materials, new processes and new instruments and equipment, new displays are developing towards ultra-high resolution, large size, lightweight flexibility and low cost. The traditional display technology based on vacuum coating has the problems of high cost, complex preparation process and high energy consumption, while the printing display technology has the obvious characteristics of low cost, flexibility and large area production, which is an effective way to solve the problem of high cost and realize large area mass production. Zhang Xin, vice president of TCL Huaxing, made an in-depth comparison between printing display technology and other technical routes at this seminar. In terms of TV/Monitor application, printing OLED technology has obvious advantages over other routes in terms of specification and cost. TCL Huaxing has developed printing display samples up to 274 PPI, which will be very suitable for use in IT products such as Note Book and Tablet. Of course, it still needs to further reduce power consumption. In the future, The printing OLED technology has the opportunity to be applied to TV/Monitor/Notebook/Tablet and other products at the same time to flexibly realize the capacity flow.
