In recent years, Handan City has closely relied on the Glass Industrial Design and Research Institute and Kaisheng Technology Group. It has successively implemented a number of “high-precision” projects with high technological content and strategic significance, and has achieved a series of world-leading technological achievements. It has created a development system with three complete industrial chains of new display, solar cell and glass products, supplemented by siliceous powder materials and core equipment, adding technology advancement and industrial innovation to China's silicon-based new materials and electronic information industry. A new impetus.

China's first 8.5-generation TFT-LCD glass substrate production line has been built for three years. It has completely adopted the core technology and equipment independently developed by China Building Materials Glass Industrial Design and Research Institute, and has realized the main thermal equipment such as melting furnace, tin bath and annealing kiln. All localization, with China's independent intellectual property rights, is a milestone in comprehensively improving the initiative and discourse power of China's electronic glass in the international market, solving the key technology of the national electronic information display "card neck" and ensuring industrial safety.

According to the relevant person in charge of the Glass Industrial Design and Research Institute, the project will be constructed in two phases. The first phase of the project will invest 2.5 billion yuan. After the project is put into production, it will form an annual output of 1.5 million TFT-LCD glass substrates. The products will meet BOE and Huaxing Optoelectronics. Application requirements of domestic mainstream panel manufacturers such as Huike Group and China Power Panda.
