On August 8, the main plant of the 8.6th generation thin film transistor liquid crystal display device project of Huike Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. was capped. The project will be lighted at the end of March 2020. It is expected to achieve an annual output value of 15 billion yuan and an annual tax of 1 billion yuan. Huike is a leading high-tech enterprise in the production and operation of consumer electronics products. Huike is a latecomer to the panel industry. In recent years, it has achieved rapid catch-up by investing in multiple production lines, according to AVC Revo. With the smooth mass production and capacity climbing of the second production line of Cangzhou 8.6 generation line, the sales volume of Huike TV panel increased by 8% in the first half of 2019, and the product line shifted to the high value-added medium and large size panel. The project mainly produces IPS LCD panels, using A-Si/IGZO TFT-IPS technology, with a design capacity of 120 thousand pieces/month and a glass substrate size of 2250mm×2600mm.
Technical characteristics, Mianyang Huike adopts new optical alignment, 4PEP, COT, GDL, IGZO, Cu process and other technologies, and is at the leading level in China. Compared with the traditional IPS and FFS modes, its technical features can effectively improve production yield and product performance. At the same time, the development of BPS with COT technology further optimizes the product process, making it more cost-effective and more efficient.
Starting from October 2018, the project was capped in August 2019. The project completed the full capping of the main structure 23 days ahead of schedule, creating a new record for the construction of clean workshops in China.
It is understood that the current development of large-scale cluster development of the industry in Weicheng District will attract investment, and will focus on the leader of the Huike project, introduce relevant supporting enterprises, and create a new display industry cluster. At present, Weicheng District has combed 16 intent-supporting enterprises, and deeply connected NEG, Corning, Messer and other key enterprises to promote the development of LCD panel clusters.
